Tuesday March 1st

1. Inquiry math:
  • Put together a proposal for a carnivorous plant order. You should consider tax and shipping in the order.
2. Janitors Boy - chapter 15

3. Geography (states or Africa if you want to move on) 15 minutes - please post your score
4. Destination Math check in with Mr. Randy (done throughout the day - each person must check in)

5. Inquiry project - essential question - you can look up examples by typing "project essential questions" in google

6. Other stuff - work on adopt a pet certifications - these are projects that have to be presented that make you a "co-owner" of any critter in we have here in the room. You get to feed it, take it home, hold it or whatever. Anyway, have fun!

Monday February 28 - Happy Birthday Trae

1. Times Attack - warm-up
2. Video - TBA
3. Blog -
  • geographic location of areas in video
  • 3 or more summarizing facts
4. Edmodo- post a picture of your favorite carnivorous plant. Remember, there are some you may not know of yet, so search around
5.Destination Math - new assignments or tests have been given
6. Janitors boy chapter 13- write a summery in your blog

Friday February 25

1. 8:45-9:15 Read next chapter in Janitors Boy (we can do aloud or on your own of course)

2. Skype - 9:30-10:00 with Ms Rooney's class

3. 10:00-10:15 - Times attack or Geography, your choice (no other choices at this time)

4. 10:15 - Brain Break

5. 10:30 - prepare and do big writing (frames will be emailed)

6. OH legal games after big writing until 12:00

7. 1:00 - Destination Math - test or activities based on your assignments

8. 1:45 - Carnivorous plants transfers (finish)

9. 2:15 - geography - states (post score on blog, screen shot is bonus)

10. 2:45 - End of day blog - post video or pictures.

Thursday February 24

Wednesday Schedule in Alabama

Hello all, here is your schedule for today - Wednesday


Open these sites and leave them open:
1. Vote and comment on the Edmodo page (don't do long assignments)

2. 20 minutes - Geography (leave this window available all day in a separate window or tab)

3. 30 minutes - Destination Math (leave this open also)

4. 10:00 Skype with Ms. Rooney's class and discuss your posts, show plants (explain that they are dormant, not dead), talk tarantulas if they feel like it

5. Work on carnivorous plant project

6. Work on the following shared assignments:
  • Edmodo - Monkey eating plants
  • Rooney site - "So you want a tarantula"
  • Rooney site - "Carnivorous Plants"

7. After Lunch - transplant of plants (keep them with their original soil to reduce shock as much as possible)

8. Here are your options if you happen to finish early or need to do other activities: (you MUST be done with other activities)
