Begin Weather Studies


1. Inquiry Math -
  • Weather - Make a list of at 3 different types of weather instruments (find the weird ones if you dare)
  • List what units they use (is it inches, centimeters, degrees, mph - things like that)
  • Make a pretend (or actual) graph that uses one of those units that is realistic (for example, please don't make a graph that shows a bunch of wind speeds being 500 mph, unless you are doing wind speeds on Jupiter or something like that)
2. Geography - Most Extreme Map - find the locations of the most extreme places on earth for weather - your choice - super hot, super cold, super lightning, super dry - stuff like that)

3. Weather video - your choice

4. Destination Math - Continue lesson or tests - please set up lessons with me if they are needed - I prefer afternoons
